Sunday the 17th, fun day at the Bellevue Hotel

Great night last night and good to see so many new faces.

Sunday the 17th, fun day at the Bellevue Hotel 'tween 2 & 4. Everyone welcome,  anything (ukulele that is) goes. Cya there.

PS I've also included a photo sent to us by Gwen of the T.U.G. performing last Saturday. Who knows, Saturday, the Drayton Bowls Club tomorrow the world.

Sunday Fun Day

Note to self, I must remember to take photos.

Had a lovely afternoon at the Bellevue this afternoon. Got some practice for our up coming performance at the Hospice fund raiser next Saturday afternoon the 9th.

We also had a couple of lovely ladies from The Sunny Coast Uke group SCUM aka Sunshine Coast Ukulele Masters. Good singers too, they were.

Look forward to seeing more of you at our next Sunday Fun Day in two weeks time at the Bellevue Hotel on the 17th from 2pm.

TUG Beginners Class

TUG Beginners Class

 Just an update about our new 5 Week Beginners Class.

 The course starts on Monday 21st January and runs for 5 consecutive weeks. It will be held at the South Toowoomba Bowls Club on Hume St. We would like to assemble at 6:00 for a 6:30 start.- to run until 8pm at the latest. The beginners course will cover the basics from "this is a ukulele" through to playing and changing chords.
 [NB: if you are attending our social nights already you are playing past the content covered our course] All up you will learn about 12 beginner chords including songs that you can them with- a perfect start for those who have never played. The cost is $60.00 (cash) and includes tuition, venue hire, course notes & a Beginners Book with CD. We do prefer that you have your own Ukulele, but we have 2 for loan out if required. Places are limited to 20 students per course and must be prepaid.
